Global Teacher Accreditation - 2014


Ms. Sapna S Manglani has been awarded with The Global Teacher Accreditation Award on 3 December 2014 at Kempinski Ambience Hotel for her unparalleled thoughts and teaching practices. With an aim to provide high quality professional training to develop institution based active research and also to enhance the pedagogical skills and knowledge, Ms. Sapna did her research on the topic ‘Improving Learning of Mensuration’ through extra marks. Her meticulous research involved brainstorming worksheets, questionnaires and counseling sessions as well. Burning midnight oil for her action research has finally been acknowledged globally.

Reservoir of an unmatched talent

Madhav Dingliwala of class XI made us proud by bagging II position at Amity University,  Noida  in  a  seminar  on 
Young minds Revisiting Cultural Values in an era of Globalization’  on 3 April 2014  in  a  neck  to  neck competition amongst  36 renowned schools  from  all   over Delhi.  His  effective  presentation supplemented by heart touching  ppts reflecting  rich  Indian  cultural  depository was appreciated  by one and all.

Excellence Awarded

Our Principal Mrs. Alka Kapur was honoured and felicitated for her commitment and service to the society in promoting better education using English on 12 March 2014. The event also provided a good platform to interact with representatives of leading UK English language providers, Management from 125 educational institutes from Kindergarten till higher education and senior officials from the British High Commission.
It can be rightly said that the Charismatic name of her sagacity has metamorphized our school into a Paragon  of Excellence in education.

Shakti Sethi of Class XI has been selected for the Student of the Year by Times of India. She has been awarded with a trophy and a certificate of excellence and a cheque of Rs 1000/-.

Accolades a plenty


The students of our school participated in written test in 11th Vacation Program on Environmental Resources(VPER) conducted by Aravali Foundation for Education (AFE) and Department of Environment, Govt. of NCT Delhi. We are proud to announce that three students namely Japneet Singh, Karan Keswani and Ujjwal Agarwal of class IX have been shortlisted for attending this program on the basis of their performance.

Modernites…….. leaving their mark


Our talented students created another success story in the event ‘Young Democrats’ in the Economic fest ECOLLOQUIUM’14 organized by the Economics Society of Hansraj College, Delhi University. The event witnessed the participation of around 25 prestigious schools of Delhi and proves to be an ideal stage for showcasing the theatrical talent of the young and energetic Modernites. The team comprising of Vishal Jain, Gourika Puri and Daksh Wadhwa of class X mesmerized the audience with their act depicting hypothetical political party presenting their manifesto.

Our students left an indelible mark by clinching the first position in the event. They were felicitated with trophies and certificates.

Weaving Success Yarn

It is matter of great pride that Madhav Dingliwala of Class X achieved 99.78 percentile and 87th All India Rank in National Financial Literacy Assessment Test conducted by NCFE (National Centre for Financial Education). He has also been awarded by cash prize of Rs 2000/-. 
66 students have been awarded merit certificates for the same.
Talent  knows no boundaries…

Aarushi Jain of class X of our school participated in NIE in association with BYJUS academy Think and Learn challenge organized for class VIII – X and was declared the school topper. As an acknowledgement, she was awarded with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.  She also qualified for the city finals and was amongst the top 10 percentile of 1,10,000 students who participated in this challenge.

International Award for Young People……..

Modernites bring accolades to School

International Award for young people was initiated by Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation under the leadership of IAYP programme co-ordinator Mr Bivujit Mukhoty. The workshop for the same was held at Yes Centre at Shahput Jat attended by Mrs Anjali Verma and Mr Jose Mathew.
The objective of the programme is to motivate young people to undertake a balanced programme of activities to promote self development. The programme encourages qualities of self reliance , self discipline, social responsibility, spirit of adventure and team work.

The programme has three levels of award – Bronze level, Silver level and Gold level. For each level, the participants are desired to fulfill the requirements of each of the four different sections i.e. Service, Skills, Physical recreation and adventurous journey. Qualifying standards are measured in terms of progress, proficiency and sustained effort.

Our School applied for the award in the Bronze level category and six children of the school namely Harsh Singhania, Shubhi Gupta, Sparsh Juneja, Pratham Jain,  S.Vishnuvardhan Reddy  Kashish Chauhan, Keshav Dingliwala, Megha Agarwal, Mohit Singhania, Ankit Jain Ayush Ajmera, Piyush Garg, Siddharth Joshi and Harsh Malik have been awarded the prize in the Bronze level.

Moment to Rejoice

International Young Film Makers Festival (IYFMF) is the first of it’s kind Life-skills based film festival of-for-and by the school students.
Movies from various schools were screened and evaluated  for their efforts for the session 2013-2014. 8 students from our school enacted, edited and presented the movie on the theme- ‘Senior Citizen’. It is a matter of great  pride to participate in this competition  and receive medals & certificates of appreciation for the same.

Ryan International School, India organized the 13th  Annual Session of  Indian Model United Nation Conference 2014 held at Scope Complex , Lodhi Road.  The competition witnessed the participation of 102 countries across the world.Modernites once again shine in Ryan INMUN and proved their mettle against the world class debaters. 

Madhav Dingliwala of class X was bestowed with High Commendation Award in the ECOSOC Council.  Our school also won the Best Country Profile for the fifth time. Ryan International School, India organized the 13th  Annual Session of  Indian Model United Nation Conference 2014 held at Scope Complex , Lodhi Road.  The competition witnessed the participation of 102 countries across the world. 

Other members of the team namely Jaskirat Singh, Vibhu Ramuka, Harsh Vardhan Agarwal, Arushi Jain and Raghav Agarwal also put a fine display of their diplomatic skills. Itwas an enriching experience for all the participants as the competition apart from building bridges across culture, also help empower the students community to cut across artificial divide of country and gained a global perspective of world affairs.

To promote this message, school welcomed the members of World Peace Prayer society on 7 November 2013. The honourable members included Mr. Shoichiro Yoshida – Group leader and Chief member of World Peace Prayer Society Ms. Yukiko Yoshida ,Ms. Minako obuko , Ms Tamaki Nori , Mr. Hashimoto Akio ,Mr. D. S. Chauhan – Japanese Interpreter, Mr. Chandra B.Singh – COO Impac Group of Co. & facilitator of Event.

The objective was to spread the message “May Peace prevail on Earth”. A peace pole was planted in the school premises as an international symbol of peace. It justified the true definition of peace that it is strength and blessing gifted to us by God.
Mr. Shoichiro Yoshida addressed the gathering and urged the students to spread the message of universal brotherhood and harmony amongst each other.

Madam Principal thanked the members of World Peace Prayer Society for manifesting peace amongst the children of the school.

Accolades a Plenty




Karan Keswani and Ananya Mittal of Class IX, Madhav Dingliwala of Class X and Divya Rao of class XI had the privilege to be a part of 7th International Chinh India Kids Film Festival on 10 November 2013 at Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls, Shanti Niketan, New Delhi. The students had the opportunity to judge animated movies and give their opinion on the same. They received certificates and medals for showing their expertise in judging the graphics in the animated movies.

Its a matter of proud privilege to announce that our school has been declared as Blogger of the Month - November in the event Teach a man to Fish, School Enterprise Challenge 2013, a project initiated by British Council of India. The earnest efforts of the team of Creative Connections have been acknowledged and rewarded with a goodie bag. Undoubtedly, it is one of the major breakthroughs for the team and a catalyst to make their presence felt at global level.
