GSP Honours Award

The school  has been accredited for outstanding School Partnership that has succeeded inspite of
challenging circumstances and practical difficulties and was honoured with an award

International School Award 2012-2015

The British Council Award Ceremony was organized at Hotel Taj President in Mumbai on 19 November 2012 (Monday) to recognize and celebrate the exemplary effort put in by schools that have been on this
journey and have taken small but significant steps to make global citizenship real and exciting for young people. Ms Alka Kapur, Principal and the teacher coordinator, Ms Kavita Bhatia attended the Award Ceremony and were honoured by International School Awards.

Various projects on International level were undertaken and completed throughout the year by the students which helped them to develop a better understanding of International issues. The ISA journey helped the
teachers and students to reevaluate teaching and learning methods and encouraged them to research and exchange information on global issues. The evidence of the activities were included and compiled in the dossier. The activities were evaluated by the panel of British Council and the desirable criteria was successfully met. The school has been granted Accreditation and was conferred with the International School Award 2012 -2015.





Peer to Peer Accreditation Award sponsored by Aston University,UK


 Global School Partnerships in collaboration with Aston University offered a Peer to Peer Accreditation, an online professional learning course wherein the teacher coordinators of both the schools(Modern Public School and Chasetown Community School,UK) actively involved in leading the partnership could use the forum to share the partnership experiences,their successes and strengths and explore how effective they are for global learning. Each partner coordinator had to submit two summaries of 2000 words and 1000 words each detailing their partnership journey over the years, how both the schools have contributed and the challenges the partnership faced. This online Peer to Peer Accreditation Course on Sustainable Partnerships was successfully completed by Ms Kavita Bhatia, the teacher coordinator of School’s Exchange Programme and was acclaimed and honoured by Aston University Module Award in the Award Ceremony.

MPS Bags The Rolling Trophy at Edge 2012


Our students participated in “Edge 2012”, conducted by Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar on 6 November 2012(Tuesday) . Students won positions in various events and bagged the Rolling Trophy and HP Colour printer for the school.

National Student Science Seminar 2012(CentreLevel)


Madhav Dingliwala of class IX participated in National Student Science Seminar 2012(Centre Level) held at St Xavier School on the topic “Mathematics in India- Past Present and Future”.Among 16 schools of Science Centre No. 1 only two were selected for the State Level and we are proud to be one of them.
