The Team MPS is swelled with pride to announce the felicitation of Modern Public School, Shalimar bagh for being the Top CBSE School rendering Community Services to uplift the downtrodden section of the society along with the efforts to make students realize their social responsibility on 8 September 2018 at North Educator's Summit And School Merit Awards 2018 organized by Education Today at Taj City Cente, Gurugram. In addition to, Madam Principal was also bestowed with the award Visionary Leader for her farsightedness that has taken the school to a new altitude.

Apoorv Vats of class XI has been shortlisted among the blessed ones to visit Japan under Asia Kakehashi project for a period of six months.

It is a matter of great pride to declare that Hrhythm Gupta ,an alumnus of MPS batch 2015-16 was one amongst the 30 people around the world from India and other SAARC countries to have been selected to participate in Egyptian Leadership For Peace, Youth Exchange Program organized by Egyptian youth Organization and Ministry of Youth and Sports of Egypt from 23 August to 4 September.

The event witnessed the participation of the future leaders all over the world to discuss their B-Plans on social entrepreneurship and youth Empowerment. The event was an array of lectures and exemplary brain storming sessions.

Hrhythm Gupta was one amongst the top 5 participants to share the stage with Governor of Sinai and Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt. He also had the privilege to meet Imam of Al-Azhar observatory. He has been declared as one of the Ambassadors of Youth and Sports of Egypt.

Passion of Teaching Felicitated

Ms.Simerdeep Kaur was felicitated with Teaching Excellence Award 2018  in the category Innovative Teaching Strategies in English on 1 September 2018 at The Progressive Teacher conclave held at Crown plaza to celebrate the spirit of teaching and empowering the school fraternity. This award was given to acknowledge her selfless efforts , passion and commitment in the field of teaching the second language in the classroom

The event was an enriching assimilation of wisdom and innovation with the presence of the keynote speakers Dr. Sunita Gandhi and Mr. K M Thomas. The conclave concluded with the felicitation for the revered educators who have made noted contribution in the field of education.

Felicitation for the facilitators

The dedicated Teaching fraternity of Modern Public School was felicitated at Rasthtra Nirmata Shikshak Samman Diwas 2018 on 2 September 2018 at Golden Place Banquet for the seamless dedication towards the noble profession of teaching. The group of 25 teachers were awarded by the honorable Chief Guest Mr. Pravesh Sahib Singh in the presence of other intellectuals. The scholarly address by the Chief Guest was an inspiring address for the entire faculty to strive for the next level of perfection. He further laid stress on inculcating strong moral values amongst students as they are critical for the development of the nation.
