Another feather in the school cap
Modern Public School has added another feather to its cap of success after receiving World Cleanliness Award presented on the occasion of World Cleanliness Convention 2016 given at India International Centre, New Delhi on December 13 to mark the outstanding contribution of the school rendered in the specialized areas related to cleanliness , hygiene and sanitation education. The theme of convention focused on CLEAN UP THE EARTH (CUTE) with the ideology catch them young. The chief guest of the day was Nepal Ambassador His Excellency Deep Kumar Upadhayay, a man with manifold traits-a Parliamentarian, a social worker, activist and Educationalist of Nepal. The function was presided by Dr. Ranjan Trivedi. It also witnessed participation of Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Principals of various universities and schools across India. The convention helped in understanding the various problems the country is facing due to lack of cleanliness and motivated young and adult towards exhibiting a responsible and environment sensitive attitude in future.

Paving its way towards Atal tinkering lab
Exhibiting their talent and spreading the fame across India,
Modernites once again excelled by adding
another feather in their prestigious cap of achievements by being one of the
proud receipients of grant of Rs. 20 lakhs from
NITI Aayog’s Atal tinkering mission for
setting of Atal Tinkering Lab in school amongst 257
schools out of 13753 across India. This will initiate the establishment
of Atal tinkering lab in school wherein the students will get a wonderful
opportunity to explore and discover their scientific acumen by performing
experiments. Modernites reached this pinnacle of success by presenting
their innovative ideas in front of embellished scientists and professors. It
was indeed an uphill task to compete with so many schools across India.
