It is a moment of great pride and pleasure for us that our student of class XI, Arjun has won a Silver medal in Javelin Throw at 4th Youth Asian Athletics Championship, Kuwait.

The day we all had been waiting for is near. Our star athlete, Arjun, is all set to represent India in Javelin throw at Asian Youth Athletics Championship 2022 at Kuwait.
With remarkable talent and sportsmanship, Modernites spread their wings and carve a niche for themselves in District Taekwondo Championship-2022 held at AFACS Center, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The students won 4 Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze medals in the Weight Category and 7 Silver and 13 Bronze medals in Fresher Category.
MPS would like to thank all the young global citizens of tomorrow for their hard work contributing to this huge victory!
Another feather in the cap
Adding to the long list of achievements, it is a moment of great pride for all of us that Arjun, a student of Class XI, won gold medal in Javelin Throw and Anisha (2021-22 batch) won silver medal in Discus Throw at the National Youth Athletics Championship 2022, held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Both of them performed stupendously and have qualified for the Asian Youth Athletics Championship 2022, to be held at Kuwait. They will be representing India in the championship scheduled for next month.
Also, Anisha (2021-22 batch), Tanishka Sharma and Astha Mallick of Class XII won bronze medals in Shotput, Heptathlon and Medley relay respectively giving their best performance among all the top athletes from India
MPS recently organised the Zonal Handball Tournament 2022-2023, which was made successful by the presence of various schools across the city.
Modernites proved their mettle on the field of handball yet again by bagging the first position in the category of Senior boys (U-19), first position in the category of Junior boys (U-17), first position in the category of Junior Girls (U-17) and second position in the category of Sub- Junior Boys (U-14).
It is the result of the grit and determination of the students that they competed and won against highly talented and skilled participants. MPS would like to congratulate every young student that contributed to this victory! This achievement has bought joy and motivation to the entire MPS Family.

MPS gets awarded at Leading Lights Awards 2022
Our Madam Principal, Mrs. Alka Kapur was awarded on behalf of MPS at the Leading Lights Awards 2022, organized by the International Chamber Of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Delhi Today's Group. It was a prestigious honor for MPS to be featured on the exclusive award show and aims to embark in more such education-oriented events.
In a major depiction of how the young talents at MPS are fostered with the knowledge to keep innovating with academic excellence, one team of Modernites has been qualified among the top 100 teams in the Youth Ideathon 2022, in which over 3000 teams from various schools across the country participated.
Modern Public School received a Gold Medal and was crowned the winner of The Green Schools Campus Awards 2022-23, held by The Climate Reality Project India, an NGO actively working to create a more sustainable future.
The gold medal draws attention to the vital green measures that Modern Public School adheres to, such as conserving natural resources, optimizing energy efficiency, managing waste, and, most importantly, educating and informing youth about climate change and measures to ensure sustainability.
This isn’t just a win for MPS, it is a win for the entire generation of upcoming, responsible, and eco-friendly global citizens of tomorrow. Congrats, Team MPS.
Nine students of MPS have been selected for a scholarship of INR 6K for each under the Sparsh Yojana Scheme by Indian Postal Department. These wizards cleared two rounds of the Written test and Philately Project to reap the benefits of such prestigious fame.
This scholarship aims to promote Philately among children at a young age in a sustainable manner that can reinforce and supplement the academic curriculum in addition to providing a hobby that can help them relax and de-stress.

We are thrilled to share that our brilliant students Hiten Gautam and Ananya Thakur's project Mask to Brick 2.0 under the theme Technology and Toys got ranked in CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition. Continuing the string of success, our sharp minds Daksh Tomar & Prateek Gupta's project Maths in Medicine also got selected for the exhibition.
Henceforth, both teams will represent our school at the national level with their creative initiatives and ideas.
The CBSE Science Exhibition aims to give students a stage to exhibit their knowledge and innovative skills by translating ideas into successful concepts.

Modernites shared their insightful thoughts on Sustainable Development Goals, which earned them the opportunity to participate in a discussion with a global shaper at the Youth Forum Switzerland. Our students Neysa Sapra and Apoorva Thakur, of classes X and VII, respectively, were selected as the Indian candidates for the online session through the Global Changemakers Project 2022-2023. It's indeed a proud moment for the entire MPS community.
